Although no pictures are yet in from our joust show of yesterday, I thought I'd publish another picture from Tilbury Camp last week instead. Here is Bev on her new horse Jaran, who is taking to this jousting stuff like a duck to water. He and Woody are now best buddies, and make a good pair, to boot! The show went well despite our best efforts to the contrary, and lucky for us we had a very sympathetic horse crowd watching us. They were amazed that we were getting as much out of the horses, especially the young Drafties, as we were. Woody and Jaran of course did marvelously, but good old Taxi stole the show, as he usually does! In any case, we DID learn a LOT about what we need to work on for next time!
